Dream Gods: Manipulates the Dreams of All Things

Our dreams hold some of the most precious pieces of information of our lives. With them came great imaginations and wonderful inventions. But to some like the Lostasians dreams are protected and threaten by creatures both godly and demonic and have little impression on our waking states. The Lostasians believed that when we sleep that we are transported to a world beyond our own and its location is a secret. Its name is Dreomede the land of dreams, known to border Helliholm, Lium, Earth, and Onur “underworld” with many of its features appearing similar to both fantasy with beautiful lands, waterfalls, misty skies, fantasy like creatures such as fairies and dragons. Its kingdoms are made of glass, crystals, and golden interior. Dreomede was so beautiful that everyone wanted it as their own, but for all that were not asleep they could not enter or remain and if ever here would appear powerless. The River Ogede would part north to south and connect to the land of the living and land of the dead. Nigerikate was home to nightmares and its boarder was separated by the River Ogede from Dreomede. Here dreamers were tormented with unfinished business in their awaken worlds. If someone died here they would be dead in the real world and their souls sent to the underworld for judgment. At the edge of both Dreomede and Nigerikate lied Norgard or Eternity. Here all things rested forever and nothing could interfere with its existence. Souls of the young, middle, and old aged often appeared throughout the day to reflect the many stages they contended to while in life.

Ananaka was creator of Dreomede and worshiped around the world as deity over the other gods that ruled there. With his many faces he was also a great wizard and gave the world their first taste at practical magic. His mother was Bewithia. Pictured fully clothed in all white and orange Ananaka stood high on his giant white elephant. Later after created the lands of dreams, Ananaka gave food to the sleeping and masked the real world so that those entering could sleep easier without waking. Every where he turned, Ananaka spit out food which humans later took back to their waking world, of which came golden fish, rice, pudding, cakes, and fruit cake. Of these the fruit cake and rice was his sacred meals, if those who wanted good dreams wanted to sleep easily would leave these special meals at their bedsides. Ananaka would then collect them as the person slept.

Vena was the Goddess of Enchantments and Eternal Love and while asleep, Vena brought people together while they were asleep. Their love would be so beautiful and enchanting that it would bring them immortal love in the real world. To protect people while they are sleeping, Vena would visit each person and cover their eyes with sand. In modern times, Vena was the female form of the Sand Man. To the rich, Vena left enchanting items in their palaces to protect them from demonic creatures that causes nightmares.

Myonar created his children, the gods of Dreomede out of childhood imaginations and gave them immortality after seeing how the shared idea of special guardians of dreams with mortal children. In honor of children everywhere, Myonar developed cities of ice, rivers of peach water, mountains of rainbow rocks, towers of glass, and playful gardens feel with magical entities. After Myonar's father, Ananaka created Dreomede, he would built its wonderful environments along with create the gods and goddesses that controls it. Myonar played an important role in Lostasians Myths and gave many mortals gifts if they honored him while awake. He honored them with sweet dreams and they honored him with food and jewelry which were left by rivers or windows as both were open gateways to Dreomede.

Onarosh at night covers the world with a blanket of night and shining stars. With his magical viewing globe he can spy on the dreams of others and control them. He created the Sand People servants to his sister, Vena to help her guide innocent mortals through Dreomede. His appearance was that of a wiseman covered in magical chains which represented how dreams sometimes bounds us even when we're awake. He was God of Sleep and during the time when people are awake he plays with their minds by giving them what the Lostasians called Day Spells or the common Daydreams.

Ogede was the river that flowed gently into Dreomede and separated it from life and death and on its boundary was Nigerikarte “land of nightmares”. Ogede was represented by the spirit that disguised himself as a beautiful swan with magical powers that could heal those that are harm in their sleep. Ogede was product of Ananaka.

Croptes or the Sand People were mystical beings that graced human dreams. Their name meant “dream people” and from them came knowledge of the dreamlands which helped people get around this mysterious world. They were servants to Vena and children of Onarosh. Individually they protected a human or animal and guided them through Dreomede. In some parts of the world, they are represented as spirits in the forms of dolls that whatever happened to the doll happened to the person the doll was modeled after.

Tonik was King of Nigerikarte and guided demons or demonic spirits into the waking world to taunt people. These spirits were called human nerves and were responsible for headaches and migraines. Tonik was God of Nightmares and often played cruel jokes on his twin brother, Myonar. His realm was considered a prison to those who didn't know of its true nature and that it was mere illusions constructed of mortal thoughts. Tonik was also considered God of Illusions and to the people of the Islands of Lostasia he was a destructive deity that hated all things and cast onto them haunting images. Until the day they would find out that his tricks couldn't hurt them, the people of the Islands of Lostasia feared the deity and sacrificed their children for their safety.

Deptoose was God of Sleeping Thoughts, like his siblings he managed to interact with mankind by giving them pleasant but sometimes dangerous thoughts. This was to help make life easier although sometimes made things in the real world harder. Images formed in the dreaming state was his magic at work.

Spirits of Larte'carsa were 12 deadly spirits that haunted mankind every night. They were the eldest children to Tonik. From their dark emotions during life, humans would pay for them while they slept. The shadows or dark places were their only way into the human world and to protect themselves, someone would have to carry a lighted object around with them. The spirits consisted of Guilt, Resentment, Murder, Robbery, Trickery, Rage, Violence, Retaliation, Retribution, Addiction, Adultery, Lies, and Jinx. There were originally thousands of these spirits and each represented dark human emotions. But because these were the main dark emotions it is difficult to identify all.

Spirits of Carli'tasta were battling spirits against the Spirits of Larte'carsa. Created by Myonar, these angelic spirits had no faces and from their hands held the dreams of each living being. The most sacred were the immortals which lied in a long hall hidden from all else. The spirits each represented several objects and emotions that are used and or conquered in life. Such were Wood, The Key, The Heart, Light, Air, Fire, Earth, Gift of Flight, Hope, Serenity, Worship, Mood, Song, Happiness, Flower, and Destiny. Usually drawn in epic stories these spirits took hundreds of forms and about 200 hundred existed. OF those the most powerful or most popular was those listed above. At the dawn of mankind's greatest battle with these spirits and their counterparts came the Lazarons “the prisoners” powerful Sondreds that sealed away all the spirits into a magical book and labeled it the Willox “book of emotions”.

Mok'itu guides the souls of the underworld into Eternity, he brings the end of suffering for those who dying and or are in battle. During the Mostibik he was one of the several deities that came together to protect mankind and help restore balance to life.

Arcalites were several beautiful female warriors that seduced dying men to ease their pain, afterwards they guided their souls to Misearth a place where dead warriors who died from a great battle. They were similar to the Norse Valkyries. They had white shining armors that lit up the skies and flew on magical white and golden armored horses. Their swords could kill demons and their magical pendants could open doorways or gateways into several magical realms. Of all, Arilla was the most famous more so because she once was a Lazaron or Prisoner.

Arcalite was mother to the Arcalites, from her name came theirs as a group. She was strong and mother of the Amazons. Upon her birth, Born' adored her so much he granted the once mortal baby immortality and gave her a place in silence next to him. But knowing her place was with humans, she left and disguised herself with magical armor that shielded her from Born's sight. Arcalite then used her immortality to give birth to the Arcalites and create a place called Misearth to train warriors who were killed in battle for the Final Battle. Until Mostibik, warriors drunk, sing, dance, and have a good time while battling at the break of dawn. Arcalite was honored by warriors everywhere and called upon whenever someone requested inner and outer strength. She was the warrior's voice and guided them into and out of battle safely. Once wife to Nextis, the Lostasians associated her with war and dispute. Arcalite was Goddess of Warriors, Dispute, and Warfare. While in the underworld looking for the Key of Humanity to save mankind at Mostibik, Arcalite met Montum and the two consorted and gave birth to the first phoenix. Shortly after, she left the underworld unbound by its law, and rejoined her children in Misearth.
